Welcome
MAYFIELD AND DISTRICT U3A
Welcome to the U3A in Mayfield and District. Although based in Mayfield our membership is drawn from villages and communities in the beautiful High Weald region of East Sussex including Five Ashes, Wadhurst, Heathfield, Rotherfield, Frant, Burwash and Etchingham.
Established in July 2005 there are currently about 130 members and around 20 interest groups.
If you have spare time and you want to further your interests the U3A is for you.
This is a lively and friendly group of people with a wide variety of skills and life experiences who are happy to share their knowledge, learn from each other and develop new interests.
A main meeting is held on the 3rd Thursday each month with a speaker. (Exceptions being August and December). Outings to local drama productions and visits to pubs for Sunday lunch are additional ways to meet other members.
Please explore our Events and Groups pages. We hope you find something of interest. If not and you have any ideas for activities we would love to hear from you. A few members with a mutual interest can easily form a new group.
We look forward to hearing from you - please feel free to contact Mary Brentnall - Chairman
